Title: Can it happen
Post by: tori319 on September 12, 2010, 05:15:23 PM
I've heard some trans guys say that their jaws became more prominent so that made me question whether trans girls cheekbones could become more prominent. Is it possible or not?

I think if you lose weight or get surgery, your cheekbones could become more prominent, but from what I've heard, hormones won't do it...

I started HRT at 193lbs and had no cheekbones for all the fat on my face. My weight now fluctuates between 130 and 140lbs and I actually have visible cheekbones now, tot he point where I don't need to enhance them with any type of makeup. Weight loss brings the cheekbones out, but the bones themselves won't grow, I don't think.
