Title: Montreal Days 1 & 2
Post by: Kristyn on September 13, 2010, 01:13:38 PM
Midway into day 2 and all is great.  It's more than true as to what people say about the this place.  I arrived yesterday just in time for dinner---a fairly heavy spread consisting of pasta, soup, salad and more.  Everyone here is great--really!  They are!  From the staff to the patients.  I met all the girls some post and some pre and we all sat up and talked for most of the evening.  Tricia from Vancouver, who will be going into the hospital today to prep for her day tomorrow.  Christy from Florida who is very bright and is a great person to talk with.  She had her surgery just after our Sarah and is doing fine  A girl from Norway also named named Sarah who is experiencing quite a bit of pain and   discomfort.  Two older ladies one from Montreal and one from New York, a ftm and my surgery sister Lauren.  A very beautiful young lady from Vancouver who, at 21 is a surgery veteran having had full ffs with Dr. Ousterhardt.

Our Sara is doing fine after some discomfort and her results are stellar.  After speaking with her and seeing her results, every fear and worry I had concerning the surgery has all but vanished.  There is some nervousness still, but I'm sure that that is quite normal and will fade as the time draws nearer.

After lunch I arrived to my room to find these sitting there waiting for me

I don't care what anybody says--the number four does not look all that big!!!

Will write more soon.   :)

Kristyn, thank you for sharing these moments with us. It has been an amazing journey to now. We look forward to hearing more over these next few weeks and cheering for you.

Thanks Valerie.  I also had my pre surgery consult and spoke with him in depth about the clitoris sizing.  I`ll post that in a separate thread

No, save your money  they`re free!  Also, I don`t think the vaginal applicators will be necessary either due to the way he attaches the scrotal graft.  His method causes less constriction if any at all while healing making dilation easier as time goes on.

202--right at the end of the hall with a big double bed!!!  It`s quiet, but you still need earplugs.  A little cool too but cozy!

Hi Krystyn

Well I can brief a sigh of relief, now that I know that you are safely where you want to be!  I will be hard at work tomorrow and by the time I get home you will have had your surgery.   Then I will be able to celebrate along with others here on Susan's on your new lease on life.

Take care and have fun.

Love and hugs
Sarah B
