I would have posted sooner but my phone died and had someone get my charger from the convalescence house. Thank you. You know who you are.
I couldn't agree more with Kristyn that I couldn't be more happy and more at peace with myself. It really is a wonderful feeling!
I was post op at 11:30am on the 14th of September. Woohoo!
Time to get some rest. I'm being discharged tomorrow morning :D back to the convelescense house.

With so many people there I wonder how hard will it be to get some bathroom time for your sitz baths, and the shower in the morning before breakfast. I always managed to be first in the shower since I'm an early riser. Good luck!!
I learned that 30 minute showers are frowned upon :embarrassed:

Good for you. Yes it is a rebirth isn't it. It feels like you just started your life over again - that you have been goven a second chance at everything. Liberating!!
Thanks everyone!
A bit of an update.. Walking a few kilometers a day in between the hectic schedule we have in store for us for 2 months, then it's still there but not so much! That walking really is helping me a lot. To those who were there when I was. I'm finally able to sit like a normal person lol. It was more fear then anything :p
Healing quite nicely, the urine stream is certainly manageable and esthetically it's looking even more fantastic every day. Dilating isn't a chore so much, it's more being able to be effective in time management still but the feeling and sensationis slowly creeping and sometimes dilating is more enjoyable then others. (perceived or actual? Not sure yet).
Has anyone else had some loss of feeling in the legs? I mean they work perfectly, but they feel a bit numb. I understand that this can be a normal side effect and wears off eventually.. Just wondering how common it is :) It's almost more sensation in a peculiar way. It's hard to describe :)
Anyways that's it. Ciao for now =)

Tricia
I only feel numb a bit after dilating, I presume its a nerve pressing issue since we are in theory holding a solid object there for 15 mins.. I would hold with less pressure.
