Title: A Video For Loved Ones of People With Gender Issues...
Post by: MeghanAndrews on September 26, 2010, 02:29:05 AM
I made this video at the request of five or six subscribers of mine to make a video just talking about transition and coming out. It isn't planned out or anything, just me talking directly to them. I wanted to put it here so people would see it and use it to get some ideas about things to talk about. I hope everyone is smiling :) Meghan

[forum ops, can we pretty please keep this in here instead of SO forum? It is really directed at transpeople so they can show their loved ones if they wanted to. It won't get seen much in SO forum. Or maybe if it could be posted in both?]

Dear Meghan,
What a very nice, clear and beautifully executed video.  May I post access to it to some of my friends?

What I also wish to say is that you are a very stunningly gorgeous young lady.

Hugs and Kisses

Cindy

I'll add my thanks, also.  I've just sent the link to two people who, although very supportive from the beginning, have both hit a wall with regards to this in the past week.  And that taught me something important.  As I progress, I can expect different reactions even from those who appear supportive at first.  People have trouble with this.  That's just all there is to it.  I'm trying to be sensitive to that, but it's really, really hard.

Excellent! Thank you! :)  I think there is a good chance of me sending this to some of my family in the near future.

Thank you so much!  I think, when I come out to my parents, I'm going to have to send them this video for them to watch.
