How tall are you guys?
Pre-t: has/did it affect you passing ability?
on T: have you gotten taller or has height become less of an issue?
The last time I went to the doctor I was five feet six inches tall. That height may change if I have another spinal surgery though--here's to hoping straightening out my spine will add another inch! When it comes to passing my height has never affected that. There are many guys much shorter than I am. Some of them even look like freshmen from Middle School.
5'9
besides annoying me a bit (i live in an area that's averaging 6'0 for males) i dont think eiither way it effects anything
I'm 5'1 :(
I feel that it does affect my passing but i'm hoping that when T starts helping me pass that it wont be too much of an issue.
I'm 5'10" and I can't pass at all, but it's not because of the height.

I work with a bio male who is 4'11 so after a few years on T you should be passible
At 6'2" I'm the shortest bloke in my immediate family,...
I think that my height has helped my passing in general but T itself has made a greater difference in that department than the height alone.
A little over 5'6". I'm way too old for the T to have made a difference.
A little under 5'6" which seems to be boy height. So we'll see, it's certainly hurt my "passing as my age" since people think I'm 12. Hoping T will give me an inch or two, of course I don't expect it since I'm done growing.
I can dream that I'll fill into my dream of 6'3", but alas, I am only 5'8".
For my race, this is a good height. I am a Mexican/Puerto Rican mix and while my dad is 5'11" (Puerto Rican), I find a lot of Mexicans my age who fall between my height and my dad's, especially at my age of 18/19. It hasn't affected my passing ability at all, but looks have in the age department only.
I think going by race is a better way to average your height, but the knowledge that exceptions are everywhere needs to be kept. I mean there's a guy in my class at college who is probably at least my age and he looks like he's a 6th grader in every way, but he's at the absolute least 17. Also, just the other day I saw a grown man, with his daughter who was maybe in the 8-10 age bracket, and he was maybe 5'0", but probably like 4'9" ish.
Heights vary considerably amongst everyone, so don't fret! ;) ;D
I am 5 foot 1. I've never met a guy that was an adult and my height. My brothers are all over 6 feet and I am the shortest out of all of my brothers and sisters (7 of 'em).
I am only 5'3...it hasn't been a problem yet pre-t and on T. some girls thinks its cute.
I'm 5'7". As far as I know, it hasn't affected my passing; I'm easily within normal range for guys (below average, sure, but so's half the population).
I passed yesterday playing contact sports with a bunch of guys wearing just a T-shirt and sports bra, and one of the guys that tackled me with an arm around my waist called me "dude" after the game, so...yeah, I'm thinking I pass and the height isn't a problem.
(Sadly, if people saw me with my biological family, the height might be more of an issue. Women in my family are all 5'4-5'5, and men are all 6'1 and up, and my cousin (who otherwise looks like my identical twin save for a few years of aging) is 6'7.
I'm about 5'3" - 5'4".
I think it definitely affected my passing ability when I was pre-T. My high voice and height were major give-aways for me.
I'm 5'7" so I'm in the average range for male or female. I'm not sure if it's affected my passing. I would hope that I would gain a couple inches on T, but it's not likely since I'm probably done growing.
I'm 5'5", and am just barely on T. I don't think my height has had much impact on my ability to pass, but then again, I'm usually read as a prepubescent boy, so maybe that has something to do with it.
5' 1.5". Ah, I'm short. Only ever met one guy in my life who is as short as I am. I like my height, it's nice being short/small for some of the things I do and I can sleep on couches easily! Recently it's come up in my head occasionally as an issue in passing, but it doesn't seem to be that bad.
I'm 5'5"-ish. I usually pass pretty well, though I usually get pinned as 18-19, which isn't bad as I'm only 21, but as a female I was usually pinned at 23-24. The voice is more of a giveaway for me though.
My mother is 5'2" and my father is 6"1 - so I lucked out somewhere in the middle. When I was a kid the doctor said I'd probably be closer to 5"9', but gymnastics will do amazing things to stunt your growth. :-\
Pre T - 5 foot 9. I don't have any biological relatives.. so I donno how tall I coulda been. However I was born small... and when they do those measurement things as a young child to determine how tall you are likely going to grow to be as an adult, I was only supposed to hit 5'4. So I'm pleased to be my height.. wish I coulda been a bit taller, but one can't have everything.
5'1". I should have been taller, I suffered mild malnutrition. Considering who I seem to have gotten more of my genetics from, it dictates short women and tall men, so if I'd been the right sex from birth I'd probably be somewhere between 5'11" and 6'3".
It definitely hurts my already slim chance of passing pre-T.
5'10" in flat feet. I'm way past growing taller with or without T. However, top surgery made a difference for me. I always seemed shorter due to my slouching (and actually was routinely measured at 5'9"), because of my stupidly big chest. Without the weight and shame dragging my spine forward, I'm standing taller and no longer get chronic back pain.
I got derided and mocked all of my life for being big/tall as a female. Not just by peers but by adults (such as my childhood doctor) who should have known better than to hassle a teenager for not fitting in. I finally feel vindicated, being utterly average in size for a male.
That said, I still don't pass 100% because I have very feminine facial features; I think the face is way more important for passing than height is.
I'm about 5'2". I've grown a tiny bit on t I think. I'm taller than 90%of the women in my family but shorter than my male relatives. But none are very tall. My dad is probably like 5'7"ish. I've met guys who are loads shorter than me both my age and older. I rarely pass as someone my age if I'm with older people but if I'm with a group of friends it's fine. I've never had a problem passing even pre-t. But most people in my family stay young looking. No one ever guesses that my parents are old enough to have 2 teenage children.
I am 5'4
I don't think it particularly effected my ability to pass pre-T the only big thing that seemed to effect that was my voice [often called male until I spoke]
I don't think I have grown any taller on T.
I don't think my height now that I am on T has any negative effects besides appearing younger than I am. Certainly no problems passing.
I am the shortest in my family. Both my parents are around the same height [5'8 or so] my sister is 5'6ish. Never has bothered me.
I think I'm 5'5 or maybe 5'6
I dont think it effects my passing too much, my roommate is the same height as me.
5'11" pre t...... 7 weeks on T, i haven't grown any taller ;)
Damn we have some pretty tall guys here. Makes me feel even smaller...
5'6". I don't feel short though. I tower over my mom's side of the family, they're all Japanese though.
I also have 4" platform boots I wear sometimes that makes me feel like a giant.

How tall are you guys?
Im about 4'11.75"-5'0.5"
Pre-t: has/did it affect you passing ability?
Yes. I don't pass at all for my age. I absolutely positiviely hate being super duper short. Im the shortest in all of my family. My immediate, and distant family. The only person shorter than me was my great grandma who was around 4'9", but I never met her. All the guys in my family are hella tall, near 6' and some taller. And girls are around 5'3" and taller. My aunt is 5'10", my mom is 5'5", my sister is 5'4". So idk what the heck happened with me, its the one thing that bugs me most. FML.
on T: have you gotten taller or has height become less of an issue?
Not on T, but im hoping to get it soon so it'll help me pass as older with its masculizing effects.
Also I've heard that T has nothing to do with you getting taller, that its impossible for that to happen. Its a myth. Idk if this is true, im no doctor.

I've never ever ever met a bio guy that was an adult and my height either. My younger brother is 12 and already 4 inches taller than I. My older brother is about 5'7". So I feel you.

Same here. High voice plus height= kid, for me.
5'6'' i wont complain about cause i know many are worse off, but id be happy with even at least one more inch. just one more inch taller and i wouldnt worry about my height any more
For the shorter guys worried about passing because of height:
There's a guy in my class who's only about 4'7" or so and you can definitely tell he's male and that's even when he's completely shaved (though he recently grew out a beard). I'm sure, given time, y'all will definitely be able to pass.
5,5. reaching 5,6 is like a DREAM for me.
Somewhere between 5'4 and 5'5 - bit closer to 5'5. Grew about 1/2 an inch on T, apparently (I don't believe it myself, but that's what the measurements say).
I'd like to be a few inches taller, but things could be worse. It doesn't effect my "passing" - I'm on T anyway. And I have a decently wide build.
I'm not too worried - I know heaps of guys my height. Lots of them at my work. I'm "short", but not short enough to be conspicuous.
I'm 5'2.75", but I lie and say I'm 5'3" ;)
Pre-T: I don't think it affects my passing anywhere near as much as my voice does. I tend to get read as a 12 year old, but that doesn't really bother me. I wish I was taller though.
On T: I won't be on T until November, which feels like a long time from now :(. I'd like to think I'll get taller because I'm still young. I've got my fingers crossed.
I'm 5'4" and 18, so I'm probably done growing. My entire family's pretty short, so I don't stick out too terribly. My brother died at 17, and he was about 5'7" so I'm not too far off.
i'm 5'5" without shoes. about 5'6" with shoes on. there was a one-week period last semester where i was hyper-aware of my height and was afraid that once i started to transition, it would be a barrier to being able to pass. but as i became aware of my height, i realized that a huge portion of the cis-dudes around me were my height or only an inch or two taller. once i realized that, i completely stopped caring about my height.
Weighing in average on this one at 5'6".
For you short blokes out there..
One of my best mates throughout the years is a brit who's probably over a foot shorter than me, making him 'bout 5 feet ish tall.
He's never mistaken for a child. He's never mistaken for a girl.
And he's been with his taller girlfriend for as long as I've known him, which is about, 8 years or so.
Height ain't everything.

Totally agree with you. My girlfriend is taller than me and that hasnt been an issue. Always makes me think of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman :D
Im around 5"6, 5"7. My dad is 6"4 and his dad was 6"8 neither me nor my two sisters took after my dad. Im the second tallest after my dad...Even though im kind average height I have such a small build that guys clothes don't fit me right, always looking baggy.
I havn't noticed any change in height since starting T and that was 16months ago.
Because I live in Asia, the men here aren't generally tall, around 5"4-5"9ish so my height wouldnt be a big factor but as soon as i'm around westerners I instatnly feel quite short...
5'3" (with shoes on lol)
I've known really short bio guys and I see short bio guys out and about all the time. Maybe I notice it more cause I'm at their level so to speak.
I'm 5'7. which isnt terrible and it doesnt affect my passing ability so i guess i'm happy with it  all the males in my family are 5'7-5'9 and my mom is 5'1 ::) my twin brother is the exact same height as me and we look identical. people just pass us off as identical twins :P I wish i was 6'2 but, we cant all have everything
Last time i got measured i was about 5ft2 1/2 or something so i just say 5ft 3...
Im used to being short so i like it but i'd rather be 5ft 6, in other words still short but within usual guy heights.
The only thing that stops me passing is my voice, if i dont talk (which i've become quite good at) then im referred to as 'mate'.
I look like im about 11 really im 20 thats quite a bummer.
I'm 160cm so 5'2"? I wish I was taller, but nothing much I can do about it :B
Wow, I feel weird now. I'm 4'10 (and a half). It could be worse, I am taller tha one of my guy friends (he's a 1/2 an inch shorter than me,unless we're the same height and I haven't noticed)
5'4" to 5'5". Depends on what time of day I am measured. I wish I were taller, but I have bigger things to be self conscious about.
5"3 ... I am taller than my mother but much shorter than my brothers
I am around 5'1" or 5'2" on a good day... but I inherited the shorter Asian genes, so no surprise. I don't feel too bad about it anymore because I see a lot of guys who are actually shorter than I. :o So I doubt it will hinder my passing once I'm out!
I"m 5'3'' and at 38 i think my growings all done. But with a mum who was 5'3'' and a dad of 5'4'' i never really stood much chance.
I'm around 5'3" - 5'4".
I wish I was taller, but there's nothing I can do about it... :-\
QUESTION
Who else claims to be in the >6'0" category!? :o

I'm one!
(At 6'2" last I was measured)
I'm 5'1", but today I went to a gay pride event and there were a LOT of short cis guys there. A few were even shorter than me even! I'm not worried about being short at all....

I've known this for awhile Miniar. ;) But seeing 2 in the category has me questioning. I'm terribly curious as to whether there is someone even taller than The Tallest! :o I don't really see that occuring though. :D
I wish I was as tall as you :-\ But alas, I am merely another Invader. ;D
Im 5'10''. i think it has helped me in passing somewhat.

Has me going ? too.. but I seem to recall someone being 6' and since the next size under ends at 5'11 I think that might be the culprit..
If not, I'll have to start sending people to Blorch, home of the slaughtering rat people.
i'm 5'10 when i stand up straight. but i normally appear to be 5'8-5'9.
i'm actually taller than most of male friends. when pleases me to no end :D
I just posted about how my height is effecting me I'm 5ft1...and it really does effect my confidence :(
