Woman Poses As Man For Sex w/ Women (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3mP-EMtKmg#)
A woman has taken another person I am assuming is a trans-man to court after discovering that he was biologically female after an on and off relationship lasting six years in which she thought this person was male. Was it wrong of him to keep it to himself that long? Well in my opinion yes; but I don't exactly think that qualifies as fraud or rape by deceit; but if she wins, there will be precedent for it to be ruled that way in the future. Ladies and gentlemen, please be careful.
I'll counter sue claiming rape because they hid they fact they were intolerant. ::)
It's stupid, but yeah I do think it's a bit questionable hiding that from your partner. I don't think this is a matter for the courts though.
Too bad there isn't enough information in that clip to really figure out what the ramifications could be. Also, the case is in Scotland? That wouldn't create precedents in North America, I don't think. Probably not a lot of danger there, but there aren't enough facts in the report to know one way or the other.
Nah. Scots law is completely different.
Though I have to say, what I know of Scots law, I don't believe what is reported. There must be a lot more to this.

That's what I'm thinking. We don't know the defentant's surgical status, whether hormones were involved, what, exactly, sort of sex one can get up to for 6 YEARS and not realize the gender of one's partner, etc... Too much info missing.
If I get the SRS, and I do all of the paperwork to say that I am a woman. I am under no real obligation to disclose this information, it is just a nice thing to do. It's hilarious to me that people would even consider something like this. But like you guys said, there is a lot of information missing.
