Title: Regarding face fluff
Post by: mr_marc on September 30, 2010, 02:19:36 PM
I've been on T for 11 months now and my face fluff is taking its time.
I do have it, its just thin. I got told the more you shave it the more it grows but i dont think its true some how.
Im just a lil paranoid its not growing properly :/

I guess just give it more time. Do the males in your family grow face fluff easily? I don't blame your paranoia though.
Tthis guy has photos of his transition and I think his situation was similar. His was pretty light until 11 months - 1yr+ mark.

As for shaving... it doesn't grow back more. It's just the ends of uncut hair are finer.

Don't worry about it Marc, it's quite common to get no real facial hair until over a year on T.

Just give it time man! everyone is different. I've talked to a lot of guys who havent grown much facial hair until over a year on t. Honestly from what I've seen it seems more common for guys not to grow much facial hair until about the year mark.

I think shaving hair doesn't make it grow faster, but makes the hair thicker :o Atleast, that's what I got told >.<

When your facial hair is just starting growing shaving does help things grow back more uniformly and can help some of those small thin hairs to grow back a bit more like good hearty facial hair.

I've been on the "full dose" for over eighteen months.

I've got killer sideburns--they came in fast--and lots of hair on the back of my neck (that was fast, too). The other hair is bloody slow. My mustache is still sparse and fuzzy, and the stuff on and under my chin is the same. But then, I'm blond.
