Hello all! I'm a twenty two year old trans girl just starting her transition.
I'm broke, live in one of the most homophobic places in America, and I look like John Belushi.
Besides that, everything seems like it's going right. I'm out to my close friends (they all accept it, I had a beautiful two hour long conversation with each of them), my roommates (they don't care), and my Dad (he doesn't understand, but he's going to help pay for HRT).
Well, I guess that about sums it up. Nice to meet you all.
Hello Alexandra! Welcome to the forums. It's great to hear that your dad, while he doesn't understand, is willing to pay somewhat for the HRT. Good luck with getting him to come fully on board!
Hi Alexandra, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 3700 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

Welcome to Susan's Alexandra ;D
Welcome! Do you mind if I ask what part of Alabama?
I live over in MS and I understand the homophobic area.
Enjoy the stay!

It's central Alabama.
I don't feel comfortable giving a specific location, but it's a college town so it's not the absolute middle of nowhere.

It's fine. College towns are cool (sometimes).
