Junior art major Matt Gordon-Forbes said he has been called a pervert and a freak for using the women's restrooms at Webster University.
"When I go into the women's bathroom, chaos ensues," said Gordon-Forbes, a transgender student. "They think I'm a boy. But I'm legally obligated to use it."
Gordon-Forbes was born Madison Elizabeth Gordon-Forbes, but began the transition from female to male during his sophomore year of college when he realized that his unhappiness with his body was more than self-consciousness.
Go Matt! I hope you can win this!
I understand the legal obligation. But if no one knows, and nobody questions, what harm would there be in him using the male's restroom? Good citizen, I wouldn't be quite so, um, obeying of the law.
