I know I'm new here and people don't know me. Hi! But I've been thinking about transitioning for a little bit now and today my mom was saying she wants me to get a breast reduction. I told her the smallest they could make me is a C because I'm a DDD. I said it wasn't small enough and she said "You want them all off. You need to get a sex change". I don't know if she was serious, but maybe she wouldn't be totally against it, possibly? Anyway, thought I'd share as it's pretty cool. I think she's cool with my "boyish" ways anyway....
Your mom has just given you the green light.
No-ones mom just says something like that.
This was the perfect opportunity to be like "...well actually talking of sex changes...."
Yup. Perfect opportunity to talk about it.
-cheers- Good luck! And, lol, welcome to Susan's!
Wow! Your mom has indeed given you the perfect opportunity. Maybe she already knows? :)
Good luck and welcome to Susan's!
WOW! I think your mom gets it! I'm happy for you.
Parents are so sneaky! Don't worry about thinking you're making a mountain out of a mole hill here, it sounds like she at least has a hint. You should definitely take this opportunity to talk to her about it :)
The other day my dad and I were joking around about something, I had found something weird looking in my food and was showing it to him, and asked where did he reckon it came from and he said "You sure it didn't come from your mustache?" Lol dad, it really makes me wonder lol.
The only reason why I didn't press the issue was because I'm not sure if that's what I really want to do yet. I'll say this, though. These DDD boobs have got to go. A C is not small enough! I don't think insurance will pay for top surgery, but maybe for a breast reduction? Regardless, if it won't pay for top surgery, I'll have to come up with a way to pay for it myself. Which I'm willing to do.
Insurance companies will sometimes cover breast reductions if they're huge (like yours) and there's proof it causes pain (like back pain). I'm sure the doctor doesn't have to say how much they were reduced. ;) I've also learned than some plastic surgeons do cover insurance. I've found out that the doctor I'm looking at for top surgery takes my insurance. Also looking at my insurance there might be a slim chance that some of it might be covered. Hmm...
wow that is awesome dude! I think your mom already knows :) I'm sure she wont be surprised when you decide to tell her. My mom did something like this as well she said to me one day "boy do you look handsome" and i knew she had it all figured out  i'm just saying if your ever gonna tell her, this is the perfect opportunity. She has the lines of communication wide open :P
