Well, I've lost various items of personal value over the years
Today at my therapist appt. I noticed that my fav. necklace (Puka shell that I'd had for years) was... GONE!!! :o Granted... We're not talking a big money item here... Personal value
When I got home I retraced everywhere I'd been with no luck to find it :-\ It had been over three hours now so resigned to the fact that it was gone I rode my bike homeward :'(
But guess what I saw in the middle of the intersection? It was a bit tattered and will have to be restrung again and folks were none to happy when I suddenly stopped traffic to gather it up :eusa_hand:
I was so happy I did a lil' happy dance before riding home (I think the folks in their cars were just glad to have me get out of the intersection)
Thinking about... A police car followed me part way home for some reason... I'm not sure what that's about ???
Anyway... I'm just glad to have found it ;D
Have you lost and/or found things of personal value to you? (It doesn't have to have monetary value, but it could) Tell us your story :)
I haven't done a happy dance in the street in so long.......... :)
Thanks!, I'm happier just thinking about when and where this is going to happen again!
As you said personal value. I lost a very small ball peen hammer. It is called a gasket hammer, because it is used to make gaskets. It was old and not worth a lot of money.
When my ex and I split up I thought she had it and I would never see it again. But one day I was looking for something else and I found it in with some other tools. Oh happy day. :eusa_dance: :eusa_dance:
Couple of weeks back lost my fave ear ring. Thought it must have come undone and could have been any where. Few days later I found it in my sock draw. No idea why an ear ring would want to visit socks.

Alien Information Transfer. The sock will eventually be gone to report to the mother ship. Sometimes the sock will come back for more information. :icon_suspicious:
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
