Title: Step by step
Post by: Kaelleria on October 22, 2010, 01:00:15 PM
Hi there!
I'm fairly new here, as evidenced by my post count, and am moving towards a possible srs/grs date within the next year. I just sent my intake form to Dr. Mcginn's office and am super excited about it. I'll probably be checking my email  every 30 minutes or so for a while waiting for a response.

I do have a few questions for anyone who did a consult with McGinn.

What was the response time after sending in your form? What was the turn around time on actually scheduling a consult?

Thanks :)

I sent my intake form for McGinn on Monday and am still waiting to hear back.  Others have reported taking anywhere from one to a few days.  They review the intake forms in order in which they are received, so depending on where your intake form is in the queue, it make take a few days or so.

I had a specific time frame to get my consult which was 2 months from when I sent in my intake form, so I don't know how long it takes otherwise but I'm sure it depends on her schedule. You can call and ask Sara and she can give you a better idea. Dr. McGinn is very thorough and asks a lot of questions. I was very impressed with her and scheduled my surgery date that same day.

Yes I do agree with Chloe,Dr.McGinn is  very thorough. I had several consultations , with different  doctors but hers was not the norm , she asked me many questions , I spent about and 1 1/2 with her and left elated...I was ready to book !!!!!!  All this to say lol  you. normally get a  prompt  response to intake papers.and it took a month or so to get a consult ;'))
