Last night's Rocky Horror Glee Show had a lot going for it: Abs, some awesome cameos from Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf, and the idea of dressing as a peanut allergy for Halloween. But it also had some weird cleaning up going on, with some lyrics getting scrubbed of their original content. You'd have to be a pretty big Rocky Horror fan to notice, but uh, I am. And I did.

If those changes were anything to judge by, the up-tights have seriously lost it.

A smut free Rocky Horror Show?

That was the first, and the last, time I have ever seen the program.  The one character "Nancy", I think, reminds me way to much of a fundie.

But then again it is Faux.

There are much, much, much better episodes. Glee varies in quality, and this one was...pretty damn weak. (And the last two episodes pissed me off royally, though I appear to be in the minority)

The first season is worth watching, Faux or not. On the whole, it's a very pro-gay, pro-tolerance, positive show...it's just had issues this season. Not sure why, but it went from subtly subversive to mainstream and a bit preachy.

You caught that too, huh?    I was sort of stunned they used that word, which most of us consider derogatory.   I was slightly offended that the teacher assumed that the Gay kid would be excited to play Frankenfurter too.
