My original surgery was done privately in the UK back in the early 1980's so a long time ago now.
However I had a revision partly for cosmetic (vanity) and partly for medical reasons done by Mr James Bellringer in Charing Cross in January this year.
I can assure you that both he and Mr Phil Thomas, who are the two main surgeons doing this work in the UK are BOTH excellent and unless you are exceptionally unlucky you certainly will NOT end up with a horrible vagina and/or scars.
As a UK NHS patient you do also have the option of going to the Hove clinic and that has many satisfied clients too.
From personal first hand experience I would say that the work of both UK surgeons and hospitals is as good as anything that I have seen out of Montreal. - oh and my loyal and loving partner for the last 22 years is a postop woman of Charing Cross NHS manufacture too - so I am a "consumer" as well as a participant so to speak. ;)
Forget the pics you see on the net - for a start most of them are years out of date and all surgeons develop their technique over time. For a second thing people only ever post about their results if they are either spectacularly good or bad - either way the pics you see are often not terribly well representative of the average result.
As a private patient I CHOSE my surgeons - for this revision I could have gone to anyone I wanted - and I assure you that after 30 years postop living I would NOT waste my money on a revision that I believed was going to be sub-standard. Both Bellringer and Thomas are good and skilled surgeons and unless you have wildly unrealistic ideas their handiwork will not let you down.
Thank you for you reply was very kind and it does made me feel much more comfortable
Good luck Salome.
Great to hear you've got a date.

Address:

hair removal from the site of the operation is covered by the NHS.
It is actually stated as such in paragraph 3.3 of this ECHR document.
https://wcd.coe.int/ViewDoc.jsp?id=1476365#P148_34076
Get onto whoever is your liaison maybe your local PALS and tell them it is essential to have this hair removal funded and started immediately.
If they get stupid about it and try to refuse funding just go private, then send them a copy of your bills and when they refuse to pay just sue them in the County Court.
thank you for you reply and you advice i will check into that
