Title: She.
Post by: azSam on October 29, 2010, 09:35:09 PM
It felt good. I was with my father, out getting dinner. He decided to stop at auto-zone to get new windshield wipers. I was sitting in the car, waiting, and another girl walks out, notices my dad patting his pocket to locate his keys, and she goes "You don't need keys, she's driving!". It's the first time that I can think of where I've been recognized as a girl by a total stranger, and actually knew about it.

It felt really good. My dad mentioned it a few times and giggled. He is supportive, and because of today, I am much more comfortable around him.

Allow me to add my congrats - that must have felt REALLY good.  I had a dream a couple of weeks ago, wherein my wife, talking about me to another couple, actually referred to me with "she" and "her", and I was in the same room, totally in drab.  THAT dream felt really good.  Dunno if that would ever actually happen.  Hope so, someday!

Congrats! It feels great I know. Funny how one voiceless palato-alveolar fricative can make all the difference!  :D
