Title: This dude asked me on a date/movies/and dinner
Post by: Megan on November 12, 2010, 02:55:38 PM
So this guy asked me out for the movies and a dinner.

How should I act, even though I know he wants to pay for it all, I don't know if he's going to think of me as a gold digger.

There's also like a 30 yrs difference, and he's overweight, but that's not the issue. I just know to him, I am a catch I guess.

Be yourself...

that depends on so many factors...
i guess it's the only thing to do.
I'm going to bring cash just in case my thoughts are wrong about this, but he did told me the other night "I want to take you out... don't worry about paying, it's my treat babe".

I am still presenting as a guy, but he's really attractive in a large tall old bodyguard type way.

but he told me he's very lonely, and seem like he was crying/happy that i liked him.

The Guy ALWAYS PAYS.  He doesnt have to worry about makeup, shoes, clothing, hair, skin and all that other stuff.

Bring cash...be on the safe side.  Don't act like you expect him to pay, give him the chance to refuse to let you pay.
Not sure about you not presenting as female on this date, but that's an entirely different thread.

That's because I am not going to look like a transvestite, since I am not on estrogen.

and he's a gay guy- so he likes guys.

I always remember my Mom talking about taking "mad money" with her in her bra.  It took awhile but I figured out why she called it "mad money".  If ether person gets "mad", you have "money" to get home.

Absolutely agree, my Husband always pays, in return he wants me to look pretty, beautiful and gorgeous and wear the latest fashion, as Izumi has said, makeup, clothes, shoes, hair, skin, nails and all that other stuff, its expensive being a woman, Iv offered to pay sometimes but Hubby also says its disrepectful to ask a lady to pay, but as Janet says I always carry mad money in my purse, on  rare occasions if Hubby wants money to pay if he's short he'll ask me to slip it  to him discreetly not let anybody see, then he'll pay, but he's old fashion, he'll never let anybody see his woman paying for Him, just the way he is, 1 of the reasons I love him, he's a Gentleman and has his own way of treating ladies.

This dude sucks... I come on my yahoo thing then he goes to I got a coupon for a restuarant and then we'll see a movie.

Then he saids, let's just go to McDonald and then go to my place for sex.

What a loser. I am dumping him, I wanted a date, not a sex session.

LOL too true. My new beau (not sure if he's my bf yet?) keeps paying...I love it...but I do feel guilty too so I will want to pay at least once in a while.

What a jerk, well he certainly doesn't know how to treat a woman.
