Title: Mrs Erocse's First Day On The Job.... Wish her Well
Post by: erocse on November 15, 2010, 10:45:27 AM
Mrs Erocse has got a new job.  :) She applied for this job weeks ago, but this morning she got a call to come in. She will be a teacher assistant. Though it is not necessary for her to work she has always wanted to do something like teaching. She has not held a job since we were married 28 years ago. But she has always talked about working in the education field. And especially with kids. We were both very excited to get the call today.

Our house has been filled with so much talk about ->-bleeped-<- and family and at times somewhat stressful this will be a welcome relief for her.

The great people here as Susan's have been such good friends to us both, I hope you will take a moment to congratulate her. :)

   Hugs, Erocse

Congrats are in order.
I know what it is like for transition to be the number one topic in the house. We have 2 transitions going on here so it can become a bit much. It is good to try and get away from the topic altogather on occasion.
A distraction like a new job should do her well.

I have never contributed to your discussions, but I think you two are a lovely couple and I wish you all the best in the world.

So yeah, go, Mrs Erocse, and teach them something  8) !

Always thought work was the best part of life so long as you do good work (and kinda like what you do).  So, do good work.

Congratulations, Mrs. Erocse, and hello and welcome, erocse.daughter!  Wow, a whole family here!  That is just awesome!  I am SO glad you've got a new job, Mrs. Erocse, and it sounds like something you'll enjoy.  That is SO important.  AND, it is an important job, too.  Enjoy it!

Teacher's assistant?  Congratulations and condolences.

Why condolences?  Instead of just what bugs your kid brings home, you are now the proud inheritor of the bugs of ALL the kids in your classes!!!!!

Give it a month or two and you'll be fine - my mom had to go through the same thing quite a few times.

Congratulations on your new position, Mrs. Erocse!  I'm sure you'll do a fine job.  As they say, it's not work if you do what you love!

And congratulation to Erocse_Daughter!  This is one of the few complete families we have had here on Susan's and I think that is great!

Thank you again everybody. Today was my second day. I got to be a substitute teachers assistant at the High School for the second day in a row. The same class twice. The kids were all nice. I became familiar with several faces and thier names. It has been fun. I love good people so this kind of work is easy for me. I consider myself lucky to have recieved this job. It was my first choice of jobs. Well I have to go now and read all of your posts that I have been missing out on. Catch up with you all.

Congrats on the new job.
Chelle was a teacher and relied on a couple of very stable substitutes when she had to be out.  They are the unsung heroes of every school district and teacher - especially those who work at middle and high schools.  If you do well, your name will get around and you may have to schedule any time off.

Enjoy!
