I'm not 100% sure on this FTM thing, but I really want a binder. I would feel so much more comfortable with myself while wearing one. But I wouldn't be able to wear it at home, so I wouldn't be wearing it everyday and the days I do wear it it would be only for a few hours.
I don't want to permanently mess up my breast tissue if I realize I can be comfortable enough to live in this body, and don't get top surgery.. I know it's shallow but I'd rather not end up with weird looking boobs :-\
After how long of wearing your binder did you notice a change in your tissue/shape?
I know it's different for everyone, just trying to get a general idea. Thanks.
I've been wearing mine since August, and I've already noticed that my chest is much flatter than it was when I first began binding. However, I have also noticed that some days, my chest is flatter while binding than others. If you keep estrogen-inducing foods out of your diet (for the most part), you might be able to get flat with a sports bra. I saw something in the section a while ago about how milk produces estrogen, which makes your breasts appear more "plump", I guess? So I try not to drink too much milk.
Thanks for the feedback. I wish I could get flat with a sports bra, but I'm a C cup and I can't really see that working :/ And I remember reading that too, milk is one of my most favorite drinks but I've been trying to limit it ><
I obviously don't know what your chest looks like exactly but I was somewhere around a C and have been binding for about 2 years. My chest was always really dense. T changed it more than binding ever did. They got a lot smaller because of pec development after T but still after binding don't look "weird" or flat. If I wasn't on T, they probably wouldn't have changed much at all.
I've been binding for over a year now with Underworks binders, first a tri-top and now a double front. My chest is a large A-small B, but I've noticed no change at all in the tissue with binding. My chest seems to be rather....perky? and it doesn't bind very well or stay in place for very long when bound. Luckily my chest is small, so it still looks pretty flat when bound. But I'm going to wager that the way your chest reacts to binding is a very individual thing, it might affect them greatly or not at all.
cool, thank you guys very much :)
