That's the way things usually work.

I tired it a few times...

it was terribly slow... and didn't see any real improvement...

I returned it.

I bought one and received it the other day, so far I've only had a chance to use it a couple times. I am not sure if I can get over the smell of the burning hairs, and I will most likely use this product for several months before I write my review on it.

A male friend of mine said he used this with great success, and stated that improper use was a likely reason for the bad reviews.

I was somewhat convinced, however after many hours of research I decided the product was not worth my money or time.

Oh, and before you go looking at home laser weapons hair removal, I have researched those as well and they are not worth it.
Actually, the real laser devices do work (I think there is a couple), but the grand majority of home "laser" devices are nothing more than a high-tensity flash bulb.
