Okay.
I haven't a photo for her, but she's 1/4 dober, 1/4 border collie and 1/2 german pointer.
She's black and white, very cute and she's coming home with me on sunday.
Here's the thing..
We can't think of a name!
I have had mostly cats before, and a hamster, and a couple birds, and all these animals have gotten "unusual" names.
The house-cat we have right now is called Mús (means mouse, pronounced moose) because she'd put her paws on the edge of her bowl while eating when very little.
Other cats I've had are; Tequila, Kisi (cat, daughter named him), Amon & Pandora. Other cats from my family; Herakles, Megara, Whiskey, Skelfing (terror), and Gríma (mask).
The hamsters were Sósa (sauce) and Sykur (sugar), and the birds were Dropi (droplet) and Fjöður (feather).
We had planned to get a "big" puppy "one of these days" and name it Grue, but this puppy's too small to be Grue, so that name'll have to wait.
We also plan to get a big kitty "one of these days" (probably a maine coon) and name him Mister (in honor of the Dresden Files cat.. yes, we're geeks), but that too'll have to wait.
So, we're having a hard time thinking of a name.
We've gotten a couple suggestions, but nothing that's really worked yet and so...
How 'bout you toss me some suggestions? Pretty please?
Ást Padda ( love bug )
She is a really cutey from the last photo.
Or let her name herself with her personality.
This may sound weird but I liked it. Call her 'dog' but in a language you don't speak like...chinese. I know someone who still has that dog and most don't know they are calling him dog just in chinese.
What's her personality like? It makes it easier to name animals that way.
She's sweet and calm.. like 60% snugs, 40% running 'round like a normal playful puppy...
She's the smallest of the litter, calmest, and she likes to chew on my hat.

D'awww! She sounds adorable!
What about Carino? (Carina for the feminine version, I'm guessing.) It's stupid silly and just means 'cute' in Italian. Or Dolce? (Means 'sweet', but like sugar 'cause she's sweet like sugar. XD)
I'm not good with names all that much--I run off themes for the most part. XD
She likes to chew on hats...maybe a hat name would be good. I don't know if you want her to have an English name, but Wikipedia has a cool list of hat styles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hat#Hat_styles (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hat#Hat_styles)
Busby. Fedora. Porkpie. Trilby. Cracks me up!
The hat "is" a fedora... and both I and hubby are big fans of that style.... hmm...
That "is" a thought...
More suggestions are welcome while we consider.
What does she smell like...
I named my puppy Natto because when she took on the color...and smell of fermented natto beans.
I think it would be cute/interesting to name a dog after another animal....like..Hamster (for some reason I'd really want to name her hamster lol..) A picture would help tho!
There'll be a photo tomorrow!
I actually think we're both getting a little attached to Fedora as the name..
Fedora is a very cute name. And sounds like a girls name. ;D
I like the Fedora idea for a name. Chalk up one more vote for that.

This literally made me start laughing uncontrollably. Then again, I might just need to go to bed. XD
PIC TIME!

I carried her home, she whined most of the way, then I put her down and she ran around with tail wagging and explored and played, napped a little on our laps, then ran around some more and played, then flopped on a rug in the kitchen and fell asleep.
So I took a pic.
She's been given an old cushion from an old deck-chair to nap on, every once in a while she moves in her sleep and rolls off, then goes "mmmh..." and lazily tugs herself back up.
housetraining looks like it'll go easy.
I'm getting a little bit attached to Fedora as a name.
She looks 'Lulu' lab-collie-tastic to me.....lol
:P
Miniar....that looks like an Oreo to me.

No jokes, that's reallly what happened. My pup's a GSD x Lab....beige in color..
A Fedora puppy. Awwwwwwwwww She is so special. ;D :icon_hug: :icon_hug: :icon_hug: the puppy.
There's no lab in her though, but I agree, she has a bit of that boxy shape to the face that labs have, and the floppy ears.
And yet,.. no lab..
Mom was Doberman/Border Collie dad was German Pointer.
Gawd. Love those little pink toe-pads.
Cute puppy!!! Fedora is a good name else Oreo ...
Fedoreo.
She's so cute! :D
Just came into my head.

OH Cam. we need a puppy cam. :D And more pictures. How was her first day with her new family?
First day went remarkably well, the night too.. and today too.
I like the name Waffles, although it would be better for a dog of a lighter color. :D
