I just turned 16, so I think I still have time to grow. And I really want to be a lot taller than I am, cause I'm pretty short. I would have asked yahoo!answers this question, but I figured that people on this forum would have more answers or better answers. Sorry if I put it in the wrong section lol
1. Eat spinach.
2. Drink milk.
3. Get adopted by taller people to be your parents.
I'm just kidding, dude. Seriously, I don't know if you are still getting taller or not or have a growth spurt left in you. The best thing you can do is eat a healthy diet and exercise in moderation. Otherwise, height is really mostly about your genetics and as a secondary matter about your nutrition and care in your early childhood.
Yoga :)
I grew a few inches after I turned 18, and I think it was caused by taking multivitamins and eating less junk food and more fresh fruits/vegetables. (I also started doing yoga around that time, so I can't rule out the possibility that it played a role in growing, too.) I grew a bit more after I was 21, and I think it was from stopping being a vegetarian and adding a vitamin D supplement (which probably indirectly helped with my calcium deficiency, hence the height increase). If you're not on T and are planning to start, doing so sooner would be more likely to increase your height than if you wait.
I wish there was a way to make ourselves taller. I'm gunna be 29 yrs. old in Dec. and I'm really short, about 4'10. I hate that I'm a short dude. I think to myself all the time what straight girl is gunna wanna date a short trans guy... not many I'd say.
But you still might have time to grow. I forgot the age where you stop growing, it might be 18, but if your parents are tall you'll probably grow to be as tall as them if not taller.
