I finally got up the courage to tell my whole family. I did it through a mass email to my whole family and everyone has basically said we love you and we support you. So all in all it went better than I expected it to be so now its just going to therapy.
Congrats to your big first step. I would watch for any changes as you begin to live your life, and present as your opposite apparent birth gender. I've seen many cases where people initially said some words of support, only to later do a 180 as they blame the new you for taking away your old self from them. Also, be on guard as your family starts to talk to others outside the family. Sometimes they carry their own baggage and will work to dissuade your family from their position of support for you.
Good luck, and keep us all posted!
That is awesome. As Juliekins said however they might not be supportive once you begin. But I hope that they are just as accepting then.
I will definitely keep and eye out on my family, right now my brother has my back so it helps, and thanks for the support it helps I go for therapy with in the next week, so that should be fun, just glad not to hide it anymore.
Congratulations! I'm so glad to hear you got support! This is a hard journey and you are very fortunate to have the support you need!
Best of luck! ;D
