Title: Bottom surgery questions?
Post by: Cody Jensen on December 01, 2010, 01:43:39 AM
Some of you have suggested Transbucket to get more info on bottom surgery. I realized you need an account to do anything on Transbucket. For personal reasons I'd rather not get one at the moment. But I have questions about phalloplasty that I can't seem to get answered:

1) How much does it cost?
2) How painful is it?
3) Does it look realistic and can it function like a normal penis?

PS- no, I'm nowhere near getting bottom surgery but I think I do have some dysphoria about my female parts and this just causes me to constantly daydream and wonder about the bottom surgery.

      I haven't checked real recently but $50k to $65k

2) How painful is it?
      No Idea

3) Does it look realistic and can it function like a normal penis?
No to both parts. They try real hard but the only function is with an implant and the looks are real debatable.

My answers are on phallo only, not meta.

Can expect it to cost around 45k in the US, less in the EU (?).
3) Does it look realistic and can it function like a normal penis?

nope, sorry (looks wise, it only looks the part, details are missing, function wise, it's pretty much good for peeing and poking).

What about pleasuring yourself? Could you still do that after a phallo?

doable but not like a cisguy would wank (either base of the penis or playing with the little guy if it isn't incorporated).

If you still want to know the price and looks, try going to transbucket.com

It's a very helpful site, and it can even help you find a good surgeon. =]

I've had a meta, not a phallo, but regarding pain:  The meta wasn't all that painful; I would think the donor sites for phallo would be more uncomfortable but will defer to those guys who have had that done.

But even though it wasn't all that painful, it took a huge toll on my body, the healing time was a good 6 weeks minimum for just the meta (one stage).  Much more involved than top surgery or hysto.  And that healing time is one reason I am not pursuing phallo.  If I get any more surgery it will be a mons resection, but only after I get into ideal shape if it still needs to be done.

Then I think I could deal with the pain. Healing time...that is another concern. But bottom surgery is quite a ways away for me. I have a lot of time to think about it. Thanks again for sharing your experience man
