Title: chemical sensitivity and T
Post by: DRAIN on December 09, 2010, 07:42:50 PM
I've only been on T for a short while, and at a low dose, but it seems like my sensitivity to caffeine, sugar,  and other substances (haven't tried alcohol) has increased. I just drak 3/4 of a coke zero and I feel like I could fly to the moon  anyone else notice this or is it my imagination?

Uh oh, this one worries me a little because I drink about a 2 liter a day. Did you already have the sensitivity at all before starting T? I've never heard of that but T affects every guy a little different a think

I feel like I crave sweets just as much, or more, but I dont enjoy the taste as much.

That seems a bit odd about the sensitivities. I know on T you'll gain muscle, and having more muscle will mean a greater tolerance to alcohol, and on E, my tolerance dropped an insane amount due to the decrease in muscle, and increase of adipose tissue.

Mabey because the T is making you burn fat and you have yet to grow muscle mass?

Yeah, that's weird....my sensitivity to sweets has gone up, meaning I cant handle as much in one sitting, but not physical/hyperactive responses. My tolerance for alcohol HAS gone up though and I've only been putting on muscle, no extra fat, so I dont think burning fat and adding muscle would have anything to with it.

I hope my sensitivity goes up. Caffeine and other substances don't have much affect on me, if at all.

I've always had a high tolerance for most things.
I still have a high tolerance for most things.

hasn't changed much as far as I can tell.

I "think" my T injections are making the alcohol hit me harder.
I used to be able to drink a lot more before getting good and silly and so was able to drink alcoholic beverages purely for the taste. (I love a good red wine, and bailies with the coffee is love.. etc)
Now I've actually gotten "drunk" drunk a couple times and that used to be just too darn expensive to even try!

I'n one of my classes some guy mentioned that having more more muscle will get you drunk quicker. I forget the science behind it, but it sounded true. I tried googling this to make sure it wasn't bro science, but couldn't find info. He was into body building and seemed like a health nut.

muscle would make you get drunk faster....more muscle means higher metabolism, which in turn means anything filters through the digestive system faster including alcohol
