It was suggested to me on my mental health support forum that I've got so much to deal with that I should leave the gender stuff alone for the time being.
And I think I should at least apply the brakes.
So I'm going to not hang out here too much for awhile.
FWIW, here's the list:
-severe depression
-extreme lability of mood, possible personality-disorderish things going on
-marriage in toilet and headed for couples' counseling, intake appointment to be set up for me ASAP
-still in poverty
-having surgery in 13 days for sinusitis (which is a chronic infection btw. Yes, I'll be home for Christmas...on vicodin. With two black eyes.)
-unhappy with current psychiatrist, trying to work with the public (county, inadequate) psych system and get one who can both see me earlier in the day and who won't keep taking calls while I'm in my appointment, so I get a proper assessment.
-possible med fail
-need mood stabilizer
-need referral to get my hormones checked since symptoms seem to be period-related, getting worse, and the periods themselves seem more random than they used to be.
-need a better job
You've gotta take care of yourself, and sometimes that means dealing with critical problems over some chronic concerns.
You may find it easier to sort out some issues dealing with gender & other deep matters once you've got a bit more stability in some of the major disruptions.

First things first, and one thing at a time. Really it's the only way to accomplish anything.
It's always good to know what needs to be dealt with first. Make sure to pop in and say hi from time to time, though.
