I have all the paperwork and everything ready to change my name and gender marker I just need the money. Ug Christmas taking all my cash.
Is it expensive in the US? It only normally costs £30-40 to change your name by deed-poll here in the UK. As my wife works for a lawyer, it only cost me £5. Sounds like I'm luckier than I thought.
That's fantastic! Congrats.

Depends on the state ... some are as little as $75 and I have seen some are around $500 - and that's if you do it yourself. If you hire an attorney the cost goes up
It's around $50 here. (Colorado)
Damn I wish it was as cheep as that. It's $550 here.
I didn't know how much cheaper it was other places. That pisses me off a bit.
It probably has to do with the notice in the paper for 6 weeks and the fee to go to court.
