I can be really anal about how flat I like my chest sometimes. I feel like my double compression binder just isnt enough. I HAVE tried wearing 2 double compression binders...but you cant imagine how uncomfortable it was! Sure my chest looked amazing, but 2 binders...rolling up...awful pain on my waistline.
so heres what i'd like some help with: what can I wear in addition to my binder? Would adding ace bandage on top of the binder help? or wrapp the bandage around first then put on the binder?
this would be just for a couple of hours when i'm out with friends and people (girls :P) and I really just want to PASS with a flat chest; sometimes i just wish i could live stealth for the day, and not having to worry about my chest would be great.
I am going to jump in here because I think you need a woman opinion. Most guys don't have a flat chest, some have moobs, some have monster pecs. What you are dealing with is perfection, in your eyes.
I should know because I chased the hourglass figure for a long time, till I realized I might have to do that forever and that just could not part of my life.
I bet you look fine with just one binder.
OK she will now return control back to the guys.
Janet's right. Most guys have something there. After I had chest surgery, I was abnormally flat and it took till I could lift again to build it up. It looked quite unnatural in a tshirt. Flat doesn't look natural, some kind of shape there (short of actual C cups) looks natural. Don't stress it, as long as you don't look like you have a pair, nobody will notice.
Dennis
maybe you could also just get another, different binder. i put on the double front again today because i wanted to see which binder i could wear under my rash guard. it left moobs in a weird uniboob shape and at the same time felt hella uncomfortable. sucks because i have some binders that make me completely flat while being comforable.
Have you tried a sportsbra underneath your binder? I find that it makes a big difference, but your mileage may vary. Plus pushing the tissue down and out helps a lot with making any imperfections in the shape of your chest look like pecs instead of boobs (and in my experience, wearing a sportsbra underneath helps keep the flesh where you put it rather than migrating back to its natural position). Good luck!
I'll second that you probably look really flat already, but I do know what you mean. Have you tried doubling up your binder so that the 'waist' is just below your shoulders?
Youre right Janet, I am aiming for perfection.
I look fine with just one, but I get paranoid when im with people who dont know im ftm.
Ill try the sports bra idea, and try pushing my chest down try to mAKe it look like pecks haha
Just wanted to throw in a warning. The sports bra idea is a good one if the binder is a little loose but you might want to try it for a couple hours at home first where you can take it off if it hurts. I made the mistake of trying that during working 8 hours. Because of the binder digging it in I ended up with bruises under my arms and chest for a week. Might not happen to you though, just wanted to warn you just in case.
