I just joined this forum when I decided to FINALLY allow myself to become who I have always been inside in November this year and I have to say it has been an invaluable resource and support.
Just wanted to wish everyone involved and on the forums a very happy festive season!

Feliz Navidad Y Prospero Año Nuevo!

Tonight is the tamale party! (Just try finding a decent tamale in SF/LA today - can't do it). One of the best things about living in a totally multi-cultural atmosphere is that big mix and match deal. Cinco de Mayo is not just for Hispanics anymore. The last few years I've gone out to Roseland to pick them up at our favorite tamale maker there have been just as many Anglos in line as homeboys. Interesting cross-cultural blending.
