So this is mostly for guys pre-T, but all are welcome to answer. How much armpit hair do you have? I ask because I think I have a few monkeys hidden in the jungle growing there, which isn't a bad thing at all. It just seems like I have way more than the average au naturale female bodied person (or at least from what I've seen in Google images). So do you have a jungle? Forest? Bush? I'm gonna stop with the analogies before it sounds like I'm talking about a different body part...
Well, just shaved it a couple days ago because it grew out weird but I let it grow out for a month before that and it was massive wild jungle type hair.
Not much when I let it grow. But I usually keep it shaved.
From what I hear from other female-bodied people I think I'm hairier than the norm. My armpit hair is awesome, as is my leg hair...but it's still not enough, I want more :p
I never really took notice of arm pit hair and how much I have compared to others. I guess its average.
I've never really compared my armpit hair to other peoples, but I think I have enough. lol. It's not a forest, but it's fairly thick.
My leg hair on the other hand.. very frustrating. It's not thick and really sparse. Doesn't even start growing (visibly, anyway) until mid-calf.
Average I suppose....I usually shave though, so who knows. I'm weird in that I really don't care for hair anywhere but on the head/face. *Shrug* Maybe I have a thing for swimmers...hehe
pre T, all of my body hair was pathetic.. im more then 3 months on T and its still pathetic lol, so i just shave my pits cause the lack of pit hair just looks silly
Pre-T here and I think I've got more than the average female-bodied person who has boycotted razors. XD I'm blonde, but for some reason all my body hair besides that on my forearms is brown, and there's a lot of it in my pits and my lower legs, although strangely it's sparser on the outsides of my calves...weird.
I stopped shaving my pits a year ago because I kept getting ingrown hairs from shaving. I have to say deodorant is actually more effective now and I sweat less there. More hair and less smell, who knew? I do trim it a bit every month or so though.
Enough that I'm not too worried about it but not enough to be too much. I got lucky in the body hair department, moderate density with legs and pits, but not an overwhelming amount, it's just right for me.
Very little. I don't know why. I never get much leg hair either. And I've tried shaving and letting it grow out. Not much still though.

I am totally with you here...only hair I keep is on my face...and a few on my upper chest just for the hell of it!

my hair patterns are very male, aka hairy for a female body, too hairy. I shave my armpits tho.
I guess in a year from now I'll be a real life werewolf. RAWR :laugh:!
Haha... I've got around 20 hairs per armpit. They lay flat. I had no idea people could get as much armpit hair as say, Sharky. Dude, that's a jungle. :o
Of course, part of the reason I have such sparse armpit hair is probably because I plucked it all. That's right. I know I'm weird. Mom was yelling at me about armpit odor and told me the only way to fix it was to shave it. I didn't want to stink, but there was no way I was shaving my underarms. A- shaving body hair would have been the girl thing to do. B - how the hell do you shave there? It's a narrow, deep dent. Anyway, I took some tweezers and ripped it all out. Kept doing that for over a year, only stopped this summer, I think. It may never grow right again. (which is fine with me, one of the few places on my body I'm not crazy about having hair)

I.. have a small jungle under my arms. Not too bad, not too long, but there's definitely a patch of fuzz under there. :D
My armpit hairs are silly. They're straight and grow towards my front. It makes me laugh because they all poke out when I put my arms down, haha XD
Though I'm on T now so maybe they'll look less goofy soon.

LOL. I didn't know arm pit hair could be so sparse. I always wondered how women got their pits so smooth. Whenever I tried to shave it, it actually kinda hurt. I could never get it to the point where you couldn't see hair grew there. I would also get the worst burns ever. Couldn't imagine trying to pluck it. I had a hard enough time trying to make my eyebrows not look like caterpillars. They still haven't come back fully.
I have a lot of armpit hair, and it's really long, too. I started getting it at a really young age. I remember being 8 or 9, lying shirtless on my back while my mom put Nair on my armpits, since she didn't trust me with a razor yet. It was embarrassing then, but ever since I started growing it out four years ago or so, I like it. But I'm a little worried about growing more of it on T. That might just be too much. :)

Yeah... I'm absurdly stubborn. Helped raise my pain tolerance though, which was part of the point of it. Plucking toe hair hurts more.

Okay I'm almost in tears just reading that. My ex tried to force me to let her pluck my toe-hair once. She got one hair out and it caused serious pain, I swore never again would that happen! You must have an insanely high pain tolerance man!

I shave mine. I've tried letting it grow out, but I can't stand the way it feels. You see, I started shaving my arm pits back when the first few hairs started to grow in. I've never had arm pit hair.
Same here, have some thick blonde hair under my arms and it grows forward, out toward my chest and sticks out a lot with my arms down. Makes me feel funny when everyone can see how wet and sweaty the hair gets.

Mines really ->-bleeped-<-ing thick and fuzzy, I just let it grow out these past 2 weeks and I never knew it could get this long. I love being polish lol. IDK if it has reached maximum lenght yet lol.

Pre-T mine was pretty sparse. It's a little more plentiful now, but not by much. However, I keep it trimmed with a body hair trimmer so that it is tidy and does not stick out everywhere; it also makes it easier to apply deodorant.
My body hair is plentiful, coarse, and dark. It doesn't work so well with my pale complexion, so I shave. My armpit hair is almost as think as pubic hair. =/
I don't have a lot of armpit hair, and it doesn't seem to be very visible because it's light brown. I have a lot of leg hair, but it's not very visible either because it's blond. It doesn't bother me though. My armpit hair does seem to be oddly long. It's like 2-4 inches long. XD
I used to shave, when I had to play a girl, but since I started transition I haven't shave it anymore!
And I like my armpit hair, it's a cool amount of hair, but I wish I had more; and in my leg too!
I'd say my body hair is about average for a biologically female person. Does need trimming though. And I'd totally love stubble, so t's gonna happen sooner or later. XD
