Or will that ruin it?
I put mine in the regular wash and air dry them (underworks). Only had them a few months but they're fine so far.
I wash mine with regular laundry detergent and it comes out fine and has lasted months so I'm sure it'll be fine. :)
Yep. I always put mine in the wash with the rest of my clothes, and even so I'd say my binders tend to have a life of about 2 years before they start to fall apart, which is a good long time, so the washing doesn't seem to have caused any problems. Just don't put them in the dryer. A time or two won't be too bad, but if you make a habit of it, it'll significantly shorten your binder's life.
I had a T-Kingdom velcro one that I used to wash by hand in cold water with regular detergent, and that started to fall apart after about a year (though, to be fair, I had gone swimming in it a few times!). I've since switched to Underworks which I wash in the same way and it's been absolutely fine so far. As long as it's not bleach, I think you'll be fine :)
Yup like they said. Although I'll point out an obvious thing because I had a stupid moment and now have a stained binder. Make sure if you add the detergent after that none of it gets near the binder because that thing really picks up stains quick!
I wash mine in cold water with Tide cold water detergent. Seems to be fine.
my son and I follow the instructions from Underworks ....Woolite cold water delicate cycle ... his has lasted almost 2 years & looks like the new ones I got him for X-mas ... mine have been about a year and look the same as the day I got them minus a bit of color.
To be fair ... my son has 8 binders and I have 6 ... so I just do them all at once (I believe my son does it that way too but he's away at college so I am not sure)
I've tossed mine in the wash like t-shirts and then hung 'em up to dry on a hanger.
Held together Perfectly.
