Transgender veteran Autumn Sandeen is featured today on That's So Gay Live. The Get Equal activist talks about her experiences being arrested for chaining herself to the White House fence and all the merry adventures had this year in protesting DADT. She also extols on the virtues of social media in creating consensus and support for the movement against Don't Ask Don't Tell. You can watch her here:
What grabbed our attention is how she ends the interview: "Don't Ask Don't Tell does not change a thing for transgender veterans. " Okay. We're assuming she meant Don't Ask Don't Tell repeal does not change a thing for transgender veterans. And that's just it—it doesn't. So we were wondering why Sandeen is not talking about that in detail. Because as it stands transgender Americans haven't gained a thing insofar as equality or LGBT rights.
Autumn Sandeen is not the sort of guy who has anything to offer the TS movement.
Have a read of this to get the facts about this sicko.

Lilac,
Regardless of your opinions about Autumn, she has transitioned and should not be referred to as male!
This is in violation of rules #9 and #10
Quote9. If you disagree with transgender individuals, or activities which cross gender boundaries take your arguments to a more appropriate web site.
10. Bashing or flaming of any individuals or groups is not acceptable behavior on this web site and will not be tolerated in the slightest for any reason. This includes but is not limited to:
* Advocating the separation or exclusion of one or more group from under the Transgender umbrella term
* Suggesting or claiming that one segment or sub-segment of our community is more legitimate, deserving, or more real than any others
