Ok so i've been thinking. I'll be starting T soon and i know that i'm not going to go for the detransition route haha But, those people that are far along into their transitons (they've had top surgery, started HRT and whatnot), if they decide that they want to detransition (probably wouldnt happen though haha), and they would like to go back to being a female, would that person be considered an MtF?? T obviously has irreversable changes (voice drop, facial hair and all that jazz :P) so they couldnt just stop T and go back to being a girl. I'm assuming T would eliminate the curves of your female body. Would taking Estrogen in a biological female reverse the T changes and give you back your period and such? i'm sorry if its a dense question xD Its hard to explain i suppose, i'm not a great english student....i'm from Finland haha
I'm fairly certain that if one has been on T, and has not had a hysto, and then stops taking T that the voice and any facial hair that has developed will remain, but that the fat distribution will revert back to female and the monthly death will return.
I think that such a person would be considered a female who went through a period of confusion [or an andro individual leaning more towards female] as opposed to a MTF, but really its all situational I suppose.
Nothing really to add because I don't know. There are some people on this site like that I believe so it does happen
I just wanted to say awesome screen name Dude! *high five*
90% is the usual percentage quoted when questions about how many transitioners give up.
Sensible doctors tell failed MtFs that it was their choice so go away and enjoy life without a penis.
I've never yet read anything by a failed FtM about how their lives continue once they stop T.
I would look to the story of that trans guy who stopped taking hormones so he and his partner could have a child. He gave birth...that is a sign of how resilient the female body is.
oh...ok guys thanks :) the question was just floating in my head for days so i thought i would ask haha
