Just posting to celebrate my three year anniversary of starting HRT. Got the call today and my T level is down to 9.7. However, DHEA is still showing as elevated, so have to see the endo next week for medication to suppress that.
The last month has seen some significant changes. Chief among them is increased breast size and sensitivity. I have entered the "hurting my boobs walking into stuff" phase. Skin has gotten softer, butt has gotten bigger, more emotional, heightened smell sensitivity for males, starting to see the beginnings of loss of muscle mass...the usual stuff, but very exciting!
In celebration, did myself up with makeup and clothes to be full-on Melody for the first time ever. Took some pics and I now have an avatar! Yay me! You can see bigger versions and a "before" pick in the MTF "do I pass" thread.

Hugs! Congrats, Melody! ;D ;D ;D ;D
You look beautiful!
I'm truly happy for you, Melody! And jealous! I'm hoping for word soon on when my endo appointment will be (the endo has a LONG waiting list, though, so it'll be a while...)

Thanks Colleen. I also remember you mentioning that you had a lead on another endo with a shorter wait time? Did that not work out?
Awesome Melody :)

I haven't followed up yet, I'm waiting till after the GIC assessment. I'm basically depending on their letter to back me up with my family. I feel like a coward depending on that, but I'm also being advised that way by TS friends. Maybe it'd be different if I weren't married, and I know that even showing them a letter isn't going to make it any easier for them, but I think maybe they'd find it easier to accept. Sorry. I'm rambling and hijacking.
Congratulations. :)!!!
Your avatar is looking really pretty. Thank you for sharing that with us. :)
Hugs.

I totally understand. Having an official medical diagnosis can only help. Until then, your family only has your word, and there is some part of them that has doubts. Especially your wife. Good luck.
@Mrs Erocse, thank you so much! I have been looking forward to this for some time. There are so many pretty ladies on this site, including yourself and Roxy, that I was getting more intimidated by the day.
And speaking of pretty ladies, nicksy23 you are drop-dead gorgeous!
@Melody. .english is not my first language and drop-dead gorgeous confuses me a little. .i dont clearly understand it. .that seems to be an idiomatic^^ thanks anyway. .
..
,oh thanks for the explaination. .that sounds very flattering :D

,thank you Collen. .so are you, and every lady with us :D
It's amazing how quickly the time flies buy isn't it. but you never really forget the exact point you started. he he
Hi Melody,
your transition seems to be going splendidly!
You mention you lost 25lbs. Did you make an effort or did it just happen because of the HRT?
I am on HRT since 2 months ago and I seem to have hard time keeping the weight on me.
Oh yes, running three miles a day and cutting down on the calories. It has been hard work.
,holy crap^^ running 3 miles a day ?, holy mother of Christ. .that such a very hard stuff to do. I do 1,000 - 3,000 steps a day though.
