Well that's not difficult at all...  Play the game that challenges you the most.

Play the game that...

... is the most fun. No point in playing a game if it is not fun after all.

... lets you grow in someway. Perhaps interaction in some context or what not, or experiment and try something new.

... Um, or the one with the best eye candy I guess...

... Or perhaps the game play that lets you zone out. (Racing games work well for that; Is it any wonder why I don't drive? lol)

Pfft. Who plays console games!  ;D

PC rules! Buy Flatout2 if you're into rally games, though Need For Speed Carbon is cool too. You really get that feel of speed even though it's not real.

If you're into strategic games, Civ4 is the way to go. Swat4 for all the people who want real teamplay over internet.

So it's pretty much upto you. :)

need for speed. The best classic game ever on the playstation1! ^_^ the good ol days... not a patch on the new ones, though most wanted is pretty damn good. I wouldn't touch Carbon... seeing a lot of people seem to complete it in less than a day... how boring.

If you play on a PC, try World of Warcraft.  Warning: It is addictive, and affectionately referred to as warcrack.

Yeah but you get to customize the car even more than before!

PS. I think WoW lacks a point. You level up and then what?

Help other people out, socialize, start another character, experience all that you can experience.  It's kind of like life.  What's the point?  Exactly what I answered for the game.

Never ask a writer about which game to play.... Imediately, I related to life's challenges.... instead of GAMES on a Playstation.  My thinker likes to tinker and leads me down unobserved paths.

"Those who wish to impress others with their intellect play chess.  Those who would settle for being chic play backgammon.  Those who wish to become individuals of quality play go." -Anonymous

As for myself, I play chess well, don't play backgammon at all, and play go occasionally and poorly, but want to get better at it.  ???

i was deeply disturbed "for purposely ruining my life and hurting my loved ones".  my hardest decision was to grow past that thought.

For the Playstation 1 (the last gaming system I bought, if ya do not count the PC) I always have loved the Twisted Metal games, especially when doing the co-op mode with one of my friends.  We would drink, snack, carry on, and lose a bunch of days. :)

Heh...Pokemon *cringes*
It's amusing to play once in awhile...don't know why exactly, but I find it very theraputic in an odd way.

I'm currently rediscovering some old games - Deus Ex and Black & White. A friend's going to lend me Fable, so I'm going to give that a shot.

Tetris.

Always Tetris.
Hehe, me and tetris go back a loooong ways.  One time I even programmed a version and added it as an easter egg (hidden feature) to a school access database project I was working on.  That was pretty cool.  I've also programmed a version for the pocket PC, which never really got beyond the basic functioning.  I also am the only person to have ever programmed a version of Chip's challenge (old PC game) onto the pocket PC.

PC gaming kinda lost its appeal for me when the company I work for gave me a job doing tech support for customers who where using our online gaming servers.  I used to spend 7 hours a day sitting in work playing Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament, lol - those where the days !!   However, you kinda reach a point where the thought of playing another game makes your head hurt.  We even had a team for a while that played against other teams, I wonder how many hours of my life I wasted though ?

Hi Everyone  =)

I only play online games only as a woman with female characters.

Here are the games I currently play and why:

EVE Online - http://www.eve-online.com/ - Science Fiction MMORPG - Tough game to learn with many very detailed aspects. I've been playing now for almost 3 years and am still learning. I love the theme and storyline. I grew up reading Lary Niven and Poul Anderson and other SF writers of that generation.

EQ2 - http://eq2players.station.sony.com/ - Fantasy MMORPG - Easy to learn and play with a better storyline and prettier characters than World of Warcraft. I love the female wood elves.  :)

Games I have played in the past:

WoW - Too boring and repetitive. The only female characters I liked the look of were the Gnomes. I have a 40th char that is a cute little gnome with green ponytails. Sorry Melissa.  :)

City of Heroes - Too boring and repetitive. Yuk.

Auto Assault - Interesting concept if you like the Mel Gibson "Road Warrior" theme.

I've played others but those are the high points.

These represent my personal favorites and those of my son who loves all of the games I listed, even the ones I don't.

I also own a Sony PSP for commuting on the bus. It's a very nice toy but spendy. It plays music, movies, very good games, surfs the internet and other activities to keep an active mind interested on long commutes.

Take care Everyone!

*hugs*

Genevieve

Well, I'm really not into the the whole violence thing.

But I love the games on here:
http://www.electrotank.com/index.electro

I'm really hooked on minigolf and my best score is -26.  I play against people all over the world and always as a female.

I also try to get younger players hooked on games like this:
http://www.ferryhalim.com/orisinal/
Fun stuff without killing each other.

I like Orisinal games.
I play the games on that site to calm down and relax.

Oh Anomie I still have Oregon Trail. I put it and allot of other old games I have, like the Serria Quest (Kings, Space, Police) games, on my old 95 PC.
I enjoy playing the old games.

Oh and I play Battleship, Tetris, BeJeweled 2, and lots of different card games on my 98 and XP computers.

i also play other games, NFS Underground 2, Sim City Unlimited, Splinter Cell.

But mostly its BF2... I LOVE flying the jets!!! i even spent $250 on a specialized flight controller just for flying in BF2, i do however get together with 30 other women in a server every other weekend... its funny when some guys wander in to play and they get totally PWNED by full squads of women  >:D ;D >:D

If you haven't done it yet, Cave Story (http://www.miraigamer.net/cavestory/).  Just make sure that you either grab the Deluxe package or that you get the translation patch.  Yes, it's free.
