Title: Androgyny win!
Post by: Alex201 on January 21, 2011, 11:46:47 AM
I posted some pictures of myself on another forum..and some dude got his knickers in a knot because he couldn't tell if I was a boy or a girl. For some reason that made him upset...so what does he do? He looks to my username to see if its male or female..but apon seeing the unisex name Alex..he comes back to me and says to me...very exasperatedly.."I CANT TELL IF YOU ARE A BOY OR A GIRL...AND WITH A NAME LIKE ALEX YOUR REALLY F***** UP".

I laughed to myself thinking....."I love being androgynous".

Happens to me too, considering my real name is Alex :). When I want people to question my gender I always default to that.

 ;D WIN!!

People get offended for no reason, especially over how people choose to express themselves it seems, which is sad.

If you come up to me and tell me I have offended you I will say great get as offended as you like, get yourself so offended that you cant sleep & end up sending off letters to random complaint centres. But at the end of the day I didnt offend YOU. YOU let youself become offended by ME.

Not giving a rats ass FOR THE WIN! >:-)

You let yourself become offended by me.

Win. I have to put that phrase on my desktop as a reminder to myself.

It will also remind me that I do the same thing in different situations.  :embarrassed:
