Or way you asked someone else. Thought this might be some interesting discussion. Also if you haven't gone out with someone, don't feel left out, what's a weird way you would ask someone out or ask someone to marry you? I'll start
- I asked my ex to marry me using a taco bell mild sauce packet that said "will you marry me?"
-We used to have this stuffed Simba that we would use to pass notes in class (it had a hole in the inside pocket that we would hide the notes in) and I asked her on a date using him once :)
I wish I was more creative with stuff like this. I have a hard time coming up with sentimental things and being charming...Maybe that's why I haven't had many boyfriends. XD
This isn't so strange. I told a girl she had an airplane ride coming for christmas. At the airport, I paid for the ride to go see christmas lights on a small plane and then dinner.
It was fun.
I was once asked out via pomegranate.
This guy had a box of pomegranates and I saw him drawing on one with a permanent marker. He gave it to me and it had a drawing of a heart. I thanked him and set it aside to continue what I was doing. After a few minutes I noticed that he kept looking back at me, getting increasingly sad looks on his face. When he wasn't looking, I turned the pomegranate and saw that he had written, "Will you date me?" on the other side. Unfortunately I said yes, and ended up dating the guy for a year.
Pomegranate... never would've thought someone could get asked out using one of those. This is pretty weird and cool :)
Never been asked out before =X
I was proposed to in front of three giraffes (a mix of reticulated and rothschilde) :D
We were at the worst New Years eve party I had ever been to, went home and we had a glass of wine (I was driving so wasn't drinking). I looked at R and said well this year we've broken up twice, and got back together. Your Dad doesn't like me, I'm transgendered, it's my birthday today. Will you marry me?
I then had to repeat on bended knee
She said yes and 28 yrs later here we are.
Cindy
Britney- Just means when you do that it will be Mr. right :) or Miss right
Vexing- Pretty cool
Cindy- Awww that is an absolutely beautiful story. Congrats on 28 years :)
Ehh I can't imagine that happening any time soon lol. And I would be VERY surprised to meet a miss right. LOL
i was proposed to while wearing not much under comforters and reading a manga. i found it pretty odd, you'd think she would have waited til i was wearing the normal amount of clothes. like a shirt and pants lol. sorry for any bad mental images. really. even then she didn't really ask me she just put the ring on my finger ::)
i want to come up with some big artistic creative way to propose to a guy some day when i meet the right one. hopefully not 20 years from now :'( but a year or so from now? a man can dream ;)
Sorry Britney, I thought you liked guys but I wasn't 100% sure so I wanted to not offend you so I put both :)
Noah- ya never know man. When I met my ex I sure as h*ll didn't think I would meet her at 15 and be with her for 4 years. I wasn't even looking to meet anyone so maybe that special guy will randomly show up one day :)
Lordkat- that sounds like an awesome experience :)
I spoke to a girl on twitter about the basketball team we both had season tickets too. When they won the championship they had a big rally, but she had to work and would be late. She asked me to save her a seat and when she got there I was blown away and head over heals in an instant. I wanted to see her again but I wasn't working so I had NO money to take her out. As luck would have it, I won a contest and got two free tickets to a concert. Asked her to go with me and the rest is history!
Not exactly weird but very lucky on my part ;D
This doesn't really count as being asked out or engaged, but oh well.
I was playing DDR with a friend of mine and some of the guys from his dorm. As I was leaving, a guy and his roommate held open their door and said "Want to come dance dance with us?" and winked at me. He didn't seem too happy when I just cracked up and left.
I want him to give me one of those valentines hearts with words on them that say "Marry Me"
