Hey, So my birth name is Chelsea, I'd like to go by Sky, um so here a little about me.
-Extremely new to all this just recently came out to myself as being transgendered. I first came out as a lesbian, and I was okay with that but I was never really okay with the idea of being a "femme" or "butch." My current girlfriend is very supportive of me just being whoever I am no matter what that is, and she used to ask me what I wanted and I would say well I want to be a boy, but almost as a joke, bc I never thought it was possible for me to even be transgendered. lol it's that you know "It doesn't happen to me" bullcrap.
-I had a breakdown the other night when she had brought to my attention that I was saying things like "I'm jealous of that FTM, he looks so good, and I wish I had a body like that" "I hate my breast" "I wish I was more masculine", and ect. So here I am
I'm 19 live with my wonderful girlfriend Jess, and cat Zombie, my parents and hers are decently supportive of us as lesbians, but I don't know how they will take my new transitions. I'm on a seriously low budget, and student loans pay most of my bills, but I know that this is who I am and what I want for myself long term, it's just going to be a while before I can start T or even therapy.
Greetings everybody.

Welcome to Susan's, Sky.
Budgets tend to be a common hurdle, if you're going to university/college you could check if they do any counseling. They tend to have some free counseling for students, it wont be a guarantee that they will have much experience with trans issues, but it's worth a thought. If it doesn't work you can always stop.
Good luck coming out to your parents when you feel the time is right.
Welcome to Susans, Sky.
I echo Domitia's sentiments when it comes to looking for counseling. I'm certain you can find people that work on a sliding scale, depending on income, so that might be helpful, but I would go to your university first and ask about the counseling, if you're most comfortable with that of course. You don't have to worry about anything here. We're home to a great bunch of trans and trans supporters here. We're always here to lend an ear.
Thanks so much everyone, I've currently been trying to find a therapist with a pretty good sliding scale.
Welcome to Susan's, Sky!
As Domitia and Sigmafan have already suggested finding a good GID counsellor (that you an afford) is the best thing you can do for yourself right now. This site: http://www.drbecky.com/therapists.html (http://www.drbecky.com/therapists.html) has gender therapists listed by state. That is what my SO used to find his therapist.
I am glad to hear that your girlfriend (and kitty :) ) are so supportive. Has she joined any support sites? I have found having an outlet for support has helped me come to terms with many things, and has definitely been a lifesaver for my relationship. Even if your SO has no negative feelings it is nice to know that there are other people you can share your thoughts with who are facing similar situations.
I wish you the best of luck, Sky. I know that it can be very difficult to live on your own and student loans can be SUCH a pain. I hope that you continue to post here, and that you enjoy being a member of the Susan's family. :) Everyone here is exceptionally kind and loving, you will find all the support you could want or need and then some!
I look forward to seeing you around the forum.
Hugs,
Jacquelyn
