Title: My Sexist Guy Friend.
Post by: Kentrie on January 27, 2011, 04:00:00 PM
I've been friends with this guy since 4th grade and he's starting to really get on my nerves. He gets on everyones nerves and he's already been beaten up 6 times this year because he's a loud mouth and he's always rude to people. Anyway, my other friend commented on my facebook picture and said "You're going to be the best man at my wedding." Well, C.B. (my guy friend) commented on it and said "KENTRIE!!! Ur a GIRL!!!" I of course deleted this comment and I spotted some danger signs (like him running his mouth to everyone) so I IM'd him and said "Tyler's crazy." C.B. wrote "You're a female....you do realize that right?" and I got mad but said "Yeah??" and then he shut up about it. I was sitting with him at school and we were talking about working out and he said "Girl's can't build muscles like guys can." I almost cried for some reason when he said that. I said "Some girls can" and he said "Because their butch dykes" and laughed. Also can someone give me a thought to think about when someone points out that I'm not really a boy to keep me from being depressed?

You are going to be on testosterone some day (if that's what you want).  You're going to get chest surgery (again, if you want it).  You will put on muscle just as easily, if not more so, than every other cis-dude.  It's an inescapable fact.  If you're on this board, you're most likely going to end up doing these things, and by the time people reach out online, it usually means it's going to happen sooner, rather than later.  So whenever C.B. starts getting on your nerves, remember that in the near future you are probably going to look like every other guy on the street, if not better.  You'll work out, you'll be jacked, and C.B. is going to realize that you'll make a better best man than he ever could.

Things are going to start looking up soon, I promise you!  :)

This guy doesn't sound like much of a friend.  If I were you I'd tell him "I'm more of a man then you'll ever be."  That'll shut him up.

He was in my Speech class and when he got on my nerves I always got him in trouble with the teacher. He said stuff about her and I would tell her and she would kick him out of class if he so much as gave me a weird look. I would tell him I'm a bigger man than he'll ever be but he'll run his mouth all over school and then I'll have to deal with all 700-800 students. I'm supposed to start T soon, that's what the guy I went to see said when I first had an appointment with him.
