I plan on changing my driver license picture tomorrow. Going full time this month! I was just curious how the process works in southern California. I've heard that you need two forms of I'd with your photo on it to change the pIcture. The problem is that I don't have any forms of I'd with the real me on them. Seeing how drastic the difference is between my current I'd picture and my new look.. (literally, I look like a completely different person.) so I'm scared there might be some problems.. Any tips/advice?
I'm kind of nervous..
Tell them you lost your license and need a replacement. Now new photo and no hassles.
My friend never goes in to the DMV to renew his license, he does it by mail and they still have his photo of when he got his license at age 19. Last time I went in, they gave me the option to take a new photo or keep the old one. So they should allow you to take a new photo.
You shouldn't have any issues with this, unless I guess you end up at a DMV in an area where people try to get into your business.
For the love of god do the internet reservation deal or you might age 10 years standing in line at the DMV.
