Title: Hello everyone!
Post by: blackswan on January 29, 2011, 07:09:11 PM
Hello Everyone:  :)

I'm so glad that I joined here.  My sincere thanks to Zythyra & Jenny for having helped me with my computer issues.  I could finally log in.   Thank you.

My pseudonym is blackswan.  I had SRS in 1988 in Wisconsin with Dr. Schrang when I was 21.  I was one of his first patients.  I'm married to my wonderful husband of 20 years & we have a daughter (soon going to college -- gosh time flies so fast) .  I've been away from the community for many years.  As a matter of fact, there wasn't an online community when I transitioned, so please forgive my ignorance regarding definitions & computer stuff.

Thank you for allowing me to participate; it's an honor to be here.  Thank you and hiiiiiii.

Hi blackswan, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 5300 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Hmmmm - rather similar to me then.

I was "done" a few years earlier and about three and half years older than you, and I had a different surgeon. But we've both been sorted for a similar amount of time, and we both took a long break from the community to establish a stable family.

Hope you find whatever you came looking for here, and a big welcome to our ranks. You have my email. Feel free to get in touch any time you want.

Jenny :)

Hello BlackSwan,
It is good to meet one of the ones who transitioned in the early days and help pave the way for the rest of us.
As a married adult in the 1980's I didn't know what was wrong with me or anything about how to correct my gender problem.
So glad you joined Susan's

Welcome to Susan's, Blackswan!

Jenny, Janet, Z, and the other Mods are all especially helpful and have what seems to be an inexhaustible reserve of kindness. I am glad to meet you, and I hope that you find yourself comfortable here at Susan's. The members are each unique, supportive, and always willing to talk through the issues you might put on the table.

I look forward to reading more posts from you!

Hugs,
Jacquelyn
