"If I were transgender, I think I'd like to be known as "katoey." It makes it sound more like being a member of a tribe instead of "in-between" like "trans" references."
Comment by Wendy: I already am a member of a tribe called 'women' thanks. I find the way the article is framed incredibly insulting but I'm not Thai so maybe it's a cultural thing that I don't understand.
Sounds like they're trying to carve a niche for themselves
in the ->-bleeped-<- ->-bleeped-<- fantasies market.
Along the same lines as "Hooters Air"
No more offensive than this
Welcome aboard "Oy Vey Air" Flight 000.
Please direct your attention to the front of the aircraft as one of our
Jewish princesses demonstrate how to buckle a seat belt.
When we reach our cruising altitude of 30,000 ft.
our matronly Jewesses will be serving up guilt trips.
My God! Why was I not born Thai... :embarrassed:
Are you really sure you would want that?
Have you done any research into the life of a "Katoey"?
