Title: TS/TG/TV EMPLOYMENT ABUSE AND REOLUTIONS
Post by: faith folau on February 02, 2011, 05:41:16 PM
To much understand the transgender comunity or simply a bio, from a Hawaiian, Korean, Tongan transsexual.

Faith Folau is my real name, and my readers so far are my fellow sisters in this entire world.  My e-book is like reading a magazine into my world, It's brief and to get you ready for the blast of my next book.

One might wonder why?..why should I even read what she has written.  Well I talk about things that TG/TS women like me, will do and it's a task we have to do in order to make it in this world.  We don't recieve the respect and love that we want.  That is all we ever want, is to be able to go anywhere, to the store or fly to another country without the thought that we might, stumble upon a critic.

A critic(s) that we all have witness many many times all over.  Critics might be so rude and not feel and understand that we to have feelings.  We don't want to be pointed out in public and some might even laugh.  Laugh for what?...just because you might see us dressed in women clothing, or laughing at the fact that the heels on our feet belongs to real women?

Things like this leads to low selfesteem to one, and not only towards transgender, but to people who all over the world who might suffer from this.

So think about how your stupidity might lead a person to commit suicide, or drink heavy amounts of alcohol or whatever they do to find comfort.

And yes we will provide sexual service to men/women for a simple fee only because I'ts what we have to do, some of us can't get a job, for unfair and discriminaiton reasons, which is silly to me.  An employer might be thinking about his/her business after they hire a transgender.  Will this transgender affect sales or will it lead to harrasment towards him/her, is this a risky decision?

Most employer's won't even take  those chances, or simply because they don't except that persons sexuality.  There are even programs out there to help people like me, and still the results are still the same resolutions.  And not even knowing if we have the right education or experience.

I have graduated high school with a diploma and a 3.0 G.P.A, and attended a community college, and graduated in business and marketing.  So you see how fast people will judge us.  It was hard enough going to school knowing the harresment of our peers is going to take place each and ever day.

I fought to survive to see graduation day with the abuse.  And now that I went through hell and back during my school years, We feel like we have to fight again, and this time It's for employment.

Future employess and empoyers please think about what I said the next time a transgender come's across an enterview.  She/He might just have the skills you are looking for, you never know.

THE RESOLUTION

Finding a solution to finding employment to young adults is very simple.  It goes back to the old rules in the book.  There is no other way to beating critics and negativity around you.  It will always be there and you are not the only one that is recieving critical abuse by your peers or by uneducated adults, toward TS/TG community.

Before facing the world, I go to a quite place to meditate for 5 to 10 minutes, and putting on some inspirational intrumental music, to cature the mood more.  I might pray to a higher power at first, then start to gather and focus on good things that make me happy.  And when that is acheived, I release all that happyness into the universe as to saying I will have a positive day.

So just do what makes you feel happy to get in the mood to a positive road.  Meditations is my way, you might have your own rendition to getting you pumped up and ready to face the world.

Make one or two weeks a job hunting andventure and apply your focus on that one job that you really want and that you have the qualifications for.  After the career hunt is over be prepared for the phone calls to come ringing in.  Af first the employer might not know you are a transgender, unless u specified it.  but if they don't know, don't worry because bottom line is to ace that interview.  Even if you felt like you aced that interview employers might not give you the job mainly like all they are afraid.  There are afraid that there business might have an dissapointing affect, due to a transgender employee.

The employer has to really take alot of time to regard your hire, because what will other employee's might think? some people have there own belief's and who knows if an employee has somthing againts a TS/TG.

An employer has to look at things like that, or maybe the employer him/her self has issues of your sexuality so it's not easy trying to find a job bieng TS/TG.

Picture yourself getting hired as a watress/waiter working at a restaurant and business is booming, and all of a sudden business was starting to gain slow traffic.  Even customers has there own opinions and beliefs, so if a customer doesn't except that fact that there favorite restaurant has a TS/TG worker they might reach out to the manger or simply find another eatery.

Those are some of the things that employers research beforemaking there decision to hiring someone, regarless if they were the most highest qualified applicant, but I bet you if that person was in the norm, I can guarentee he/she will get a quick hire.

So please do not feel let down towards yourself especially if you are transgender, it's really not you, it's them.  They need to find exeptence in there selves.  And this article is for everyone in this entire world,

Thank you for viewing.

Mahalo,

Faith Folau.
