Hi. My name is currently Rebecca. I am a man and always have been, but my body is female. I live in Portland, but I was raised in the South, so I'm scared. Not fully out, and not sure how to be. I want my life to be about science or literature, but this issue of living the wrong gender keeps making itself important. I'm happy to find I'm not alone. I don't know what to do next, but knowing other people like me exist is a huge start. I'm going small steps at a time. I have a kid, and I can't tell her what I am. Not yet. I hope to keep an eye on these forums and gain courage from them. Wish me luck :)
