About The Program

Anatomy: Mind is the second in a series of three short films telling unusual and compelling stories which explore how sexuality and the body work together as driving forces in the creative process.

Directed by Emma Crimmings, one of Australia's new talented filmmakers Mind is the captivating story of Tom Cho, a 36-year-old Chinese-Australian man. From an early age, Tom thought he was different and knew he didn't match his mother's expectations of a good daughter. From the innocently playful gestures of a tomboy to the irrevocable impact of transitioning his gender, Mind charts Tom's escalating desire for personal transformation.
