My mother in-law was born and raised in France (during war time) She is, to say the least from the"old school" set in her ways. I have always had a good relationship with my mother in-law. I have to say thought, It is much better since I came out you to her.
Patty, my mother in-law and I were out shopping about a week ago. We were having a great time. Then it was time to find a restroom. Patty had to go as well as her mother and I. Although I have been full time for some time now, I still didn't want to make my mother in-law feel uncomfortable. So just before we entered the restroom I pulled her aside and asked if she mind if I use the restroom as well. She said "Oh ,not at all !! " And we all went in and got three adjacent stalls and we talked while we were going, too. :) I always thought it was funny girls talk in the stalls to each other, but now that I am part of that sorority I think it is fun. :)
My mother in-law is amazing, I just love her.
Hugs, Roxy
That is fabulous Roxy and a fabulous story as well.
Thank you so much.
Great story!
Is it strange that restroom 'girl talk' is actually one of the things I look most forward to, once I complete my long journey. ;D
As you know, its an unwritten rule for men to not talk in restrooms- especially to strangers at a urinal. Stare at the wall at eye level so there is NO mistaking where you are looking. lol
Aww that's awesome! I love it when you get those little unexpected things that make your day.
