I heard that there is a film in the U.S where there was a mtf post-op transsexual who successfully changed all her legal papers and married with a man for 7 years but had hidden her past from him, then he finally discovered it. It's based on a real story. What's the name of this film please? Which year was it released?
I don't know the film you're talking about, SG, but there was a famous 1970 court case in the UK based on this exact principle, when a man called The Honourable Arthur Corbett went to court to annul his marriage to an MTF model called April Ashley on the grounds that she had been born male. He won the case and ruined her life ... and it took three decades to change the law t=so that transsexuals could marry in the UK.
