Title: Top Surgery and Nipple Size
Post by: Espenoah on February 22, 2011, 02:27:33 AM
So recently one of my biggest dysphoria-causers is my nipples, strangely enough. They're large, even for a girl...I know in top surgery, the areola is cut down to a good size, but what about the nipple nub itself? Is it even possible to size that down?

Yes, absolutely. My nipples were very large prior to surgery. My surgeon (Dr. Brownstein) cut smaller, nickel sized areolae from  the existing tissue, and cut smaller nipples from the nipple tissue, and sewed that into the new areolae. The end result is small, male sized nipples and areolae, and the little nipple nubs even get erect.

Interesting.  I didn't know they did that.

Dr. Garramone said that he cuts the areola down to about the size of a nickle and the actual nipple to about the size of a pencil eraser.

Oh sweet! Dr. Garramone is my doctor of choice.
