Title: Beard Retardant Cream
Post by: Medusa on February 22, 2011, 03:29:46 AM
I dont know if is that right subforum, but it fits it most.

Do someone have any experience with Beard Retardant Cream (http://www.transformation.co.uk/en/shopping?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=1012&category_id=101) or similar products?
It contains Spironalactone and Oestrogen.
They make also breast growing and many others, but for this is better complette hormonal therapy.
I want something what can stop developing beard until regular HRT starts. (I now have just few hairs on face, so I think this could help me at least to not grow new ones)

Talk to your doctor about Vaniqua. A friend recommended it to me and my doctor told me it will absolutely slow down hair growth and wrote me a prescription. Just started using it about a week ago and am seeing some results. It is expensive $100 a tube but since you use such a small amount and it spreads easily it should last several months.

I am curious, can this be used by someone who is male-assigned-at-birth, still currently identifying as male due to being pre-HRT? I'm helping a friend look into options, and whether this could be used in conjunction with laser hair removal (for the beard) prior to starting HRT?
