This will be my first summer trying to pass. I have a pool in my back yard so pool parties are frequent for me. Not sure what to do, especially since I'm not exactly out yet. Hopefully that will change in 5 hours.

I did get a new pair of board shorts though and I was just going to use my old binder with a rashguard. I asked about before and that seemed to be the thing other guys do as well.

Well last year I wore my binder and a tshirt and trunks. This summer I'll be going shirtless!

one of those spandex-type swimming shirts. the easiest way to see is:

ive never had a rashguard, but if you cant get your chest completely flat, would it show really prominitley with a rashguard? It looks like it would, like its skin tight.

I've got a loose fit rashguard.  It fits more like a t-shirt but doesn't get as heavy in the water.  It's doesn't show through as much as a regular rash guard and I think it's a lot more comfortable.

Unless you mean at an indoor pool, remember that scars shouldn't be exposed to the sun for a year after surgery. Then again, some guys don't mind if their scars stay visible. Just figured I'd mention it.

Thanks yeah I did know that but I'm not insanely concerned with how visible my scars are. I'll be slathering on the sunscreen and trying to stay covered up as much as possible but I will more than likely go shirtless a few times.

I'm gonna do swim trunks with a binder, a white t-shirt, and a sleeveless white jersey over that. Haven't used it yet but I'll update when I've used it to say how well it works :)
