Likes watching classic Disney movies? (Sorry for all the "is it weird if a guy..." questions. I am just using this stuff to try and figure out who the heck I am).
No, but I like Pixar movies myself.
Fraid so...
Just joshing
Nope, their some of my favorites :)
I think it's weird when anyone likes Disney movies. I always thought they were depressing. I never got the appeal. When I was about 11 I went to Disney World, really don't remember anything. However, I thought SeaWorld was the best thing ever. I even got to pet a penguin. If I was in your house and you and pictures of Tinkerbell, or whoever, on your wall I would think you were gay. Is it weird? Yeah, I think so. Why should you care if I think it's weird? My dislikes don't have to be yours. I' m not sure how having people judge your liking of Disney helps you figure out who you are, but good luck with that.
Nope Im working on collecting my favs. I tell people that I want to have them for my kids someday. Dont get me wrong i love watching them, aladdin is my all time fav. I think that its just connecting with your child hood self. My dad and me sometimes have whole conversations about them, everyone has to act like a kid now and then otherwise we end up old and depressed with nothing to do but read the paper( my mom) ;D
I dont have a only kid section in my dvd bookcase tho I have tons of movies. at last count there was 320 somthin, we didnt have satilite for a while so we went crazy with the movies. pick up a new one once or twice a week. Yeah my girlfriend thought it was odd when I told her I wanted to start collecting my favs. but now she is in on it and she has added her favs to the list too. she thinks its a great idea couse who knows if we will like the movies released when we have kids.
Is it weird to like them? Not really. Is it weird when you rave to all your buds how much you love them? Yeah.

Just joshing?? love it =P
Nah, last week a friend of mine and I realized we both knew Aladdin by heart. It was kind of sad, actually. ::)
Well, if it is weird, take comfort that me and my best friend are weird along with you.
We watch Fantasia at least once a month. And my girlfriend still has original VHS copies of the movies we all grew up with, so we watch em from time to time.
Who you are is who you are, and nothing you do, nothing you like has any impact on your gender identity. Period.
"Is it weird if a guy" questions can be helpful for sort of testing out safety issues and understanding social norms, but I suspect you're already aware of the social norms. You're just wondering if your likes and interests somehow validate/invalidate your maleness. They don't.
Even if you liked dressing up as a Disney princess and singing "Under the Sea" to your Barbie collection while you hand-sewed little Barbie princess outfits, that wouldn't make you not a guy. (It would, however, be something you probably wouldn't want to display in public while presenting male, if you don't like getting gay-bashed.)
Dude, I love pixar. And i spend my time for Disney Channel. It's entertainment. what's wrong for watching something for entertaining yourself?
Hell, you are cool, dude. No worries
I saw that ur into disney ch. I never really got into it, I like the old mickey cartoons. Not to say I didnt try, my brothers loved the ch. they wouldnt admit it to anyone but they watched early hannah montana :D...I really got into spongebob tho and Family guy. I have nearly every volume of Family guy.
I wanna be a man, mancub, and stroll right into town...
No, not weird at all. Watch movies you like. :)
well im sure its not just girls who make disney movies, and Walt Disney was a man
I love disney movies, beauty and the beast, fox and the hound, its just a feeling od nostalgia for me, and the movies are cute.
Nah, man. I've known guys that like Disney movies.

Nah, man. I've known guys that like Disney movies.
good to kno, thx guys
not at all....disney movies are really made for anyone, well the old ones were, most of the new ones ive been a lil disappointed with...but the classics like lion king, alladin, beauty and the best, lil mermaid etc are amazing...and i know tons of guys who like those movies....
Hey, I work with a woman in her 40's who collects "Mr Potato Heads"! She has hundreds of the things.
So who cares.
It depends on the movie itself doesn't it? There are some hardcore 'male oriented' Disney movies like Tron or Sword in the Stone. There's also Atlantis, Alladin, and Hercules. The screenplay for Alladin was written by the same guys who wrote Pirates of the Caribbean [and you can tell] and no one will give you heat for watching that.
But even if they did, would it even matter?
Honestly, pretty much every guy I know likes Disney movies, musicals, romcoms, etc. It might not be "traditionally male", but lots of men like them anyway.
I.
Love.
Disney!
Psh, no! I know plenty of guys that watch and throughly enjoy Disney films, some in which I've sung Mulan with ::)
I consider myself to be a pretty butch guy, I like choppin wood, buildin sheds, fixin engines, checkin out ladies.
But I ->-bleeped-<-ing love Disney.
It's a horrible corporation that corrupts the minds of children and instills wicked roles in their minds.
But Jafar is just so damn cool!
My girlfriend is this feminine, pretty, type girl. And she couldn't care less about Disney. I don't think she ever really did.
So no worries man. Watch away!
Figuring out who you are is very different then figuring out what the norms are. In fact to truly discover yourself I'd advise the opposite. Forget about normal and social stigmas and figure out what it is YOU like and dislike.
but no.
Disney movies are awesome.
No, of course not :) Every man has different interests and hobbies, and some only pretend to like sports and cars and girls etc to fit in with "the lads" anyway. I personally love football, ufc, rugby and military stuff, but I also love birdwatching, poetry and really cheesy, "girly" films like Bridget Jones and, yes, Disney! So just be you, and I bet you'll find some really cute guy or girl who wants to cuddle up on the sofa and watch Disney with you :)
if you want to talk girly shows/films..... My girlfriend is starting to drive me mad with this Sex in th City stuff. perfume, rentals, refrences, starting to buy the seasons and the movies. I have started moving her dvd so that we can watch somthin else. If i cant find a show to watch within maybe 5 min of another ending it is suggested that we watch the City. Stick to the disney or else you might end up beeing draged to watch 4 girls complain about guys and fashion for 6 hours straight. (the first season has like 4-6 disks with 4 or 5 episodes each watch out)
**fans of S.C. dont mean to offend I have personaly just watched too much of the stuff in the last 4 months. ( all episodes)x2
